If there's ever a season to embrace a print, spring is it. Winter is over and it's time to do away with dark palettes and heavy layers to make way for fresh and light fabrics and prints. Florals are of course a spring favourite, but there are many more with which to update your wardrobe this season.
Okay, so they may not be groundbreaking, but they're a classic for a reason. This spring, large-scale florals are out and delicate, ditsy and abstract prints are in.

Apart from florals, gingham is the one print that really screams spring. Classic, suitable for all ages and is simple enough to go with everything, you'll be reaching for the gingham pieces in your wardrobe year after year.

A perennial classic, stripes are a firm favourite all year round. Where thicker, breton stripes are an autumn/winter staple, spring makes way for thinner, baby stripes in pastel shades.

Geometric prints can take many forms, but the small-scale geo pattern and the soft saffron shade of the Tangier print is perfect for spring. The busy print is offset by the simple and flowing maxi shirt dress silhouette - pair with minimal sandals for the ideal weekend look.
